This condition is caused by dilated capillaries, resulting in an appearance of general redness, indiscreet, well-defined vessels.

Do you suffer from diffused redness or rosacea? The most commonly affected areas are the nose, forehead and cheeks.

Did you know The Cosmetic Clinic laser treatments can help treat this gently, safely and effectively?

What equipment is used for rosacea?

The Candela Gentle Yag uses non-invasive laser technology to safely and effectively treat facial redness, flushing and red facial spider veins. You can expect to see consistent results after each treatment, without unwanted side effects. Treatment can be performed in a relaxed, comfortable manner without the use of topical anesthetics.

What does this procedure do?

Patients often describe the treatment as relaxing and therapeutic. During the procedure you will experience a gentle warming on your skin’s surface as the laser hand piece is moved back and forth about a centimeter above the skin. The heating of the skin stimulates collagen re-growth and dilates the capillaries.

On average, you will require four to six treatments in order to achieve optimal results. The individual treatment results are subtle, but the overall effect of multiple treatments can be quite dramatic. You can return to normal activities immediately and you should always apply sunscreen if participating in outdoors activities.
