Medi-Peels are here to help take your skin to the next level! The perfect way to give your skin an extra boost and reset. Targetting dull and tired skin, with an effective non-invasive treatment that doesn’t take a lot of time. These peels help to encourage smoother, healthier, and rejuvenated skin.

Medi-Peels are a blend of cosmeceutical strength enzymes, alpha hydroxy (AHA), and beta hydroxy (BHA) acids.

Peels help to resurface the superficial layers of the skin clearing away build-up and congestion, leaving your skin looking brighter, less pigmented, and more youthful. MediPeels help reduce the signs of ageing and can be used in conjunction with selected skin treatments and injectable treatments.

Our Medi Aesthetic Peels

Enzyme MediPeel:

Gentle but effective! This Enzyme Peel gently exfoliates the skin with tropical fruits and AHAs. This peel is perfect to add to existing skin treatments or to use as a stand-alone treatment to give your skin a quick reset.

No previous skin prep is required to have this treatment.

Exfoliating MediPeel:

​The perfect entry-level peel is here! This Exfoliating Peel with fruit acids and niacinamide. The combination of enzymes and AHAs work in synergy for a gentle yet effective chemical peel, reviving and brightening your skin.

Our Exfoliating Peel is perfect if you are new to peels, no previous skin prep is required to have this treatment.

Anti Acne MediPeel:

Our Anti Acne Peel supports those with congested skin. By not only lifting away the layers of dead skin cells it assists with the appearance of congestion, acne, enlarged pores and scarring.

Rejuvenating MediPeel: 

This peel is designed to activate cell turnover and exfoliates the skins surface to reveal a brighter, more hydrated, youthful complexion with reduced congestion and hyperpigmentation.

Intense Resurfacing MediPeel: 

This peel has been designed for customisation, where acne scarring, pigmentation, and other signs of accelerated ageing may be present.

Skin preparation of two weeks is required before you can receive our Intense Resurfacing Peel.

What are the benefits of adding Peels to your skin regime?

Medi-aesthetic chemical peels (aka MediPeels) help to improve the appearance of pigmentation and sun damage, in addition to reducing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, pore size and an overall reduction in congested skin and breakouts.

Is any downtime required after a Medi Peel?

Depending on your own skin downtime may vary. Mild rendering and mild peeling may occur.

Can I wear makeup after my Peel?

After your face peel, ensure you adhere strictly to your dermal technician’s post-care recommendations and avoid heavy makeup and ingredients that can irritate your skin, such as retinol. If you must apply makeup, use a mineral powder that won’t clog your pores, and make sure your makeup applicators are clean and bacteria-free.

Is a Peel painful?

None of our peels are supposed to be painful. They may cause different levels of tingling, redness and some discomfort but not pain.

Who are Peels suitable for?

Our Enzyme and Exfoliating Peel is suitable for any skin type.

Who are Peel's not suitable for?

Our Peels are not suitable if you are on the below medication;

Roaccutane, Isotretinoin, or ​Topical Acne Medications​

Why do I need to use the Balense Recovery Cream/Recovery Laser Gel?

The Balense Recovery Cream & Recovery Laser Gel have been specifically formulated to help the skin to heal safely & effectively post our Laser & Skin Treatments. They work to reduce redness & inflammation, are antibacterial to prevent any skin infections/reactions, & most importantly, help to reduce heat that remains in the skin post laser treatments. Using these 2 products is a vital to step to ensure fast skin recovery from our in-clinic treatments.

Why do I have to prepare my skin before receiving certain skin & laser treatments?

Some of our skin & laser treatments do require preparation on skin products 2 – 4 weeks prior. These products help to strengthen, hydrate & protect the skin, reducing the risk of adverse reactions, such as irritation or inflammation. Having a skin that is well-hydrated & has a strong barrier helps to prevent unwanted complications during & post treatment. A dehydrated or compromised skin may not respond as well.

Indicated Use: 

  • Introduction to Peels & active skincare.
  • The Intense Resurfacing Peel requires two weeks of skin preparation before this peel can be done.
  • Safe for pregnancy/breastfeeding.
  • A great option for clients who do not wish to step up to more advanced skin treatments.
