So how do they work?

These treatments are different to the at-home face masks or solutions that you ‘peel’ off your face. Medi-aesthetic peels involve the application of a chemical solution to the skin, designed to speed up cell turnover and renewal. The formulation is left on your skin for a time carefully determined by your clinician, taking your skin type and condition into consideration. The technician will then carefully wipe the peel from your skin using a soothing cloth. The surface cells are targeted, and following treatment, your skin will peel – shedding the dull surface layer and revealing fresh new cells.

 

What do they treat?

We offer a range of peels, which can in turn target a huge range of skin concerns. Scarring, pigmentation (including melasma and age spots), fine lines and wrinkles and acne can all be improved by a tailored course of medi-aesthetic peels.

There are a few ways to maximise the results of a medi-aesthetic peel. To compliment the treatment, we recommend LED Light Therapy. After the skin has been renewed from the peel, revealing fresh and healthy skin, the LED lights are targeted deep into the skin cells to help heighten their internal functions, photo-stimulate dermal blood flow and  help induce faster healing, decrease pain, reduce acne and more.
